If I recall correctly, Harbaugh used them to recognize/reward more team-oriented accomplishments and behaviors, as opposed to just memorializing TDs, interceptions, sacks, etc. Pretty sure we had practice squad guys with stickers on their helmets, with guys like Owen Marecic struggling to hold up their heads, due to the additional weight of so many stickers for critical blocks, etc. 8)
