One of my favorite pieces of art at Stanford is the "Last Supper of Chicano Heroes" which features a very cool Carlos Santana at the end of the table. (My favorite piece of art at Stanford is the Burghers of Calais).
One of my most distinctive memories at Stanford was seeing one of the campus bands perform a particularly good rendition of Santana's Black Magic Woman at a fraternity party. I wish I could remember their name, but I never heard about them performing again. I thought they were better than the dominant band on campus at the time, Platypus Rex, and those guys were GOOD.
