I find it hard to believe that the coaching staff expressed interest given the depth at the position. And I find it hard to believe that he'd come to Stanford when the reason for leaving is falling behind in the depth chart at Texas. Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire.
There's the history of QBs leaving Stanford. Frost and Nottingham come to mind. I can't remember any QBs transferring in. And I wonder if admissions is even tougher for transfer football players.
