this is great, great info. almost worth compiling and placing into a sticky post somewhere on this bulletin board.
also, to the extent that some site only makes its streaming available in the USA, for the record there are tools like Anchorfree (free) or Witopia (costs $$) that allow you to make websites think that you are sitting in the USA (or in the case of Witopia, in any of a selection of countries.)
  ... However, those services won\'t make it appear that you are using an ISP that is part of the espn3 gang, so they won\'t allow you to watch the streaming on ESPN3.  But espn3 isn\'t showing the Big Game anyway. Among the games they are showing, they choose to show San Jose State vs. Hawaii but not Stanford-Cal.
