Because that is indeed the gameplan, I think. Tyner will probably become co-backup by the end of the season if not the sole backup RB behind DAT. You'll have DAT out as a receiver with Marshall/Tyner in the backfield at some point this season. Their playmaking abilities are too good to not overwhelm opposing defenses. (Huff, Lyerla, DAT receiving with Mariota, Tyner, and maybe Marshall as a fullback or a true fullback in there...)
