Moreover, it does seem Shaw never wants to drop a recruit because something better comes along, as Harbaugh did. He probably feels that if a recruit is going to take extra classes, etc. because Stanford says they want him, Stanford owes it to that athlete to honor the scholarship offer, and not pull it if something better comes along, as Harbaugh seemed to do.
On a related note, when's the last recruit admitted to Stanford that went elsewhere? The last one I can think of was Anthony Sarao after Harbaugh left. I don't think Shaw has lost any admitted offers, has he?
Don't jinx us; we still have three accepted scholarship recruits who haven't committed, one of whom at least is still nominally a commit to Vandy.
