Pastor, Luck has to be the Voldemort winner next year if he comes back. Â I almost want him to go as the #1 draft pick this year if he can get the #1 slot. Â There\'s a lot of prestige that the program can accrue from that, and the old adage of tomorrow never being guaranteed to anyone still holds true. Â It should help in recruiting too, if Stanford is a place where NFL dreams are taken seriously.
If next year\'s defense is as good as this year\'s defense, then I\'ll feel a lot better about Stanford\'s chances of winning a national title. Â Also, this is contingent on our bowl result and no injuries. Â Whalen and Baldwin are seniors and will need to find understudies. Â (Did anyone see similarities between Baldwin\'s TD grab last week and Mark Bradford\'s TD grab to beat USC from two years ago?)
This Thanksgiving I\'m thankful for the Stanford football team staying relatively injury-free.
