I read a blog this morning quoting Harbaugh as saying his goal was to win multiple championships at Stanford. I don\'t recall the date of the blog, but Harbaugh cited Ralston as his example.
Furthermore, just this month, I read a news article quoting Harbaugh as saying he was not satisfied at being 9-1 at the time, but that he wanted to be 10-0, and that we hadn\'t accomplished anything yet.
Kawakami is just another example of the press or others thinking Harbaugh is ridiculous, and that Stanford isn\'t good enough to be a football power. First, they laughed when he said "We bow to no program," and we beat a No. 1 USC. Then, they laughed when he said a bowl wasn\'t good enough, that he wanted to not merely maintain momentum from last year, that he wanted to compete for the national championship. Now, they\'re laughing saying that he\'ll leave because all the other coaches do.
Guess what? Harbaugh has backed up everything he\'s said to date, and I have no reason to believe he won\'t again here.
I CALL BULLSHIT!
