Ben has been playing with injury for some time. The guy is a warrior and he will be missed, but injuries like this are a part of the game, especially for the big guys in the trenches. His ability to step it up with this injury nagging him is admirable and Sark, if he had any class, should make an apology.Â
I'm hopeful that Anderson and others can leverage the extra time to get back to health and I'm not ready to throw in the towel and settle for San Antonio or anything short of Pasadena. Defense wins championships and this D has heart and won the day/night against O State and others. Our ability to keep contain and tackle on the edges and in space will be tested by Mariota and co.Â
I'm guessing Murphy has another pick 6 to help a struggling O put points on the board. We need to get some takeaways and put the Ducks on their heals early. Ideally, Hogan (and Shaw with the playcalling) has his best game to date. We'll need it for the biggest Pac12 game of the year. Having it on a Thursday night really stinks for those of us with families.  Â
