There are other successful current NFL coaches who're also actively engaging in potential college jobs.

I'm having trouble parsing this. I know of NFL coordinators going back to college (in fact during the last decade two different Patriots' coordinators have done it), but I don't know of any head coach who has, except to flee a clearly failing gig (Saban, Carroll).
