I have a question to pose to more knowledgeable football people on this board.
In 2014 we seem to have a bevy of players who can do either A)Major Damage in space, B)Run by people, or C)Both.
What I don't see on the O is a guy (besides maybe R Wright who I am high on) who can consistently break tackles/lean forward for those extra yards. I think that this upcoming year I would like to see a new wrinkle to our offense where we have a pistol formation full house look like this
                                39 8 26
                                   22
Ty and Cajuste as WR's. I really think this personnel group could put a lot of stress on Defenses in different ways. Read Options with any of the 3 backs, including possibly a triple option look off of the read. Motioning guys out for bubble screens. Slant/Flat route combos both sides. Screens to any of the three backs. Cajuste could also line up as a Tight End in that grouping and you could throw some extra wrinkles in there.
5-8 plays a game with this group out there could really bolster our production. I know it's not a classic Stanford set, but I do think it could pay major dividends. Thoughts?
