As a transplanted Stanford fan in Seattle, I still haven't gotten over Violet Palmer calling a phantom midcourt foul on UW's Elise Niemela to give USC three foul shots to win at the buzzer at UW in 97. I'm pretty sure Elise hasn't gotten over that call either.
The fact that Palmer got an invite to the NBA and now people think she's qualified to supervise officials is another reason why watching officiating in Pac-12 women's basketball is like being transplanted into a dystopian universe...
