If Richard Sherman went to school anywhere but Stanford, I would hate him. But since he went to Stanford, I can only shake my head and chuckle, "That's our Sherman!"
Honestly, I think I love Sherman more and more because of all his Sherman-ness. As somebody on this board (Publius?) said, he is probably the single most important recruiting factor (besides Coach Shaw) that we have out there. I think smart, talented kids from fortunate backgrounds like Andrew Luck will always consider Stanford. I think smart, talented, trash-talking, inner-city kids wouldn't necessarily consider Stanford without Sherman demonstrating that they can thrive there.
Go Sherman--hope him and Baldwin repeat those performances at the Super Bowl.
