I tweeted this morning:
"I understand the reaction, football fans, but if you don't love him you don't know him.
Seconds later, Coy Wire retweeted this and added one word:
"Amen."
If you think he is classless, you don't know him. Plus he is bright, generous, funny as hell. You can make a long list without ever getting to "gifted, athletic, the best in the business."Â
A comparison to Tiger, to whom I have had some but less exposure, simply isn't apt. They have little in common inlcuding their alleged missteps. Tiger's transgressions were carefully planned, repetitive, dishonest, and a betrayal of promises and vows that he made. Richard's were none of those: They were spontaneous. And his interviews just minutes later were pure Sherm and pure cool.Â
