Beverly Sherman has rocketed past Lisa Ertz ("If you get into Stanford, you're going to Stanford. There will be no more discussion.") to be my #4 favorite Stanford mom.  After #1 my mother, #2 Jane Stanford, and #3 Lisa McCaffrey.
