Again, I tweeted this yesterday: "If you don't love Richard Sherman, you don't know him."

Last night Jon Haskins texted me and wrote "Agreed."

I do love Sherman.  On Sunday night he acted like an obnoxious ass.  I would say I forgive him but he doesn't need my forgiveness and doesn't owe me anything.  I still love Sherman. 

He and others can add diversity to Stanford's image without acting like jerks.  Based on the reactions of my friends and family, mostly not 49er fans, Sherman's rant hurt Stanford's image.  I hope and expect his conduct in interviews over the next two weeks will win some of that back.
