but I heard some Texas fans considered him a bit long in the tooth. Still, a similar theory as the Alamar and Hart hires: sometimes good coaches look terrible when looking for a poorly performing head coach.

Randy Hart has worked out pretty well for us.  I think it's good to have some veteran coaches around that aren't gunning to be head coaches and looking for the next open seat on the carousel.

My sentimental favorite is still Darrien Gordon.
