Haskins has moved many times and a had a very varied series of jobs around college athletics.  It's not decisively shown, but maybe the driver for all this changing is Haskins and an impulsive personality. Whatever, he hasn't followed a conventional assistant's career path.  Dir. of Player Personnel at an SEC school is nothing to walk away from on a whim if one is trying to build a career.  And now he's done it twice, once at Florida and now Vandy.  Maybe something about strong personality head coaches just gets under his skin. 

Or, maybe things are happening in the rest of his life that made leaving Vandy necessary.  He got a lot of respect for his contributions in his first Stanford stint.
