I agree.
I'd guess they want home and home with a "neutral site" game thrown in every few years where the "neutral site" game always takes the place of a Stanford home game.

Over the last few years, ND has played neutral site games at the Meadowlands, Yankee Stadium, AT&T (Jerry Jones) Stadium, the Alamo Dome and FedEx Field. They have games in 2014 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and at FedEx Field. ND only plays 3 true road games. Clearly they are trying to create more brand awareness in parts of the country where they recruit. Why would Stanford want to help them by agreeing to a "neutral" site game that will probably be 70-80% Domer fans? Another reason I loathe the Irish.
