If they want to play a game somewhere other than Stanford or South Bend, how about somewhere in England?

I would love to get out of the Notre Dame game.  When Stanford had that 86,001/85,500 seat monster the "Never been to Indiana, yet fans of South Bend U" crew was too tempting to ignore.  SBU also enabled Stanford to get on national TV when that type of TV coverage was precious and critical to recruiting.  Now the smaller stadium and the ubiquitous TV coverage have changed the needs.

However if Stanford was going to agree to 2 neutral site games, so that both programs lose a home game, I would hope for China (potentially the Bird's nest) and then in Japan's World Cup 2002 Yokohama stadium.  In both places I would suspect Stanford would get more support from the locals than that school from "Middle America".  Just a hunch.
