However if Stanford was going to agree to 2 neutral site games, so that both programs lose a home game, I would hope for China (potentially the Bird's nest) and then in Japan's World Cup 2002 Yokohama stadium. In both places I would suspect Stanford would get more support from the locals than that school from "Middle America". Just a hunch.
