Acc'd to the website, last year was the first time SU was eliminated in the first round. At least that was to a higher-seeded team, this year we lost to a lower-seeded team.

Yet that showing still earned 25 Director's Cup points.  Stanford's "other streak" (consecutive Director's Cups) was preserved by just 16.5 points last year.

Even though Men's Tennis has substantial room for improvement, it contributes meaningfully to Stanford's overall athletic excellence.
