It is categorical...garvin is a much better writer than I.  terry is...hell, all of you-- are smarter than I.  And Cowboy Indian is funnier than all of us combined.  But this one time, I AM categorically correct.  Go see the movie "CHEF".  Don't ask questions.  Just do it.  It will make you feel better.  Take a break from the Obama Wars,  ISIS,  mysteriously disappearing airliners and go see it.  I was not in much of a mood for a movie but went on a Bay Area friend's recommendation.  He is seldom wrong and wasn't wrong this time.  Sure, it's got a big dollop of sentimentality,  but go anyway.  It is clever and well-written enough to more than make up for it.  Maybe eat before you go, but you'll be hungry when you come out.  The audience where I watched it was moaning during the food shots.  We joined in.  That's some good cookin'.

Just go.  You can abuse me later if it doesn't make you feel hungry or feel better.
