Trademark problem closer to home: "Nerd Nation" is already trademarked:

That's fascinating.  I think G4 used to put out tv content related to gaming and associated pursuits...but since the trademarked 'thing' in question is an image file of text, maybe Stanford is safe.  Nerd Nation apparently exists in the copyright database as a screenplay by Regina Glei as well.  My Nerd Nation shirt has a copyright symbol but not a trademark symbol.
