Yes, El Centro Chicano is still firmly placed in a corner of Old Union on the edge of White Plaza.
The loudest voices tend to be the most passionate and unbending in thought. The quieter ones are either less frequently voiced or drowned out. My views were definitely in the later and unpassionate. Most Mexican-Americans on campus as well as those part of the faculty were from California so Chicano prevailed.
If I had a dollar every time I was distracted, I wish I had some ice cream.
