That third down (at the 1:50 mark in the video if you want to skip directly to it) was amazing. Hogan slipped early in the run, and it looked like he was dead in the water when two Ducks had him in their grasp from behind. And then a third Duck runs at him from the front, and somehow Hogan manages to get past all of them.
Taking a closer look at the video, I think what happened is that the third Duck actually ran into the arms of Duck 2 who had Hogan in his grasp. The impact loosened Duck 2's grip enough that Hogan was able to escape and get the first down. If things hadn't worked out so perfectly (including Hogan's slip at the beginning), we get stopped and have to punt.
Man, sometimes you get luck on top of your preparation. I'll take it.
