Yes, I liked Groundhog Day a lot, better than Edge of Tomorrow. Groundhog Day is one of those rare movies that has become a cultural reference point, for good reason. But I still really enjoyed Edge of Tomorrow.
This post got me interested in Run, Lola, Run, so I rented it this weekend. Good movie. Builds the suspense and draws you in, then throws you the twist. Funky style. Not much development of the story nor much exploration of the characters, but that's not what the movie is trying to do. Still, I would have liked to know more about Lola (but not her whiny boyfriend). The concept of the movie reminded me more of Sliding Doors than Edge of Tomorrow or Groundhog Day.
