If it is, then Publius is a reddit karma allstar. But the thought is there.
Some movies that I can watch over and over again...this may show my tendencies for mind numbing films.
1) Shawshank Redemption- If it is on when I scroll through channels I am stopping there. "Get busy Living or Get Busy Dying"
2) Godfather 1 and 2
3) The Two Towers - It was my favorite book in the Lord of The Ring series as a child as well. I feel Jackson nailed that movie.
4) American History X - One of the grittiest films ever made in my opinion.
5) Boondock Saints... "We could kill everyone." "I am strangely comfortable with that."
6) Orgasmo - Trey and Matt's of South Park fame's senior project if I remember right. Come on a Mormon Missionary that goes into porn, but does not have sex, genius!
7) The Outlaw Josey Wales - Perhaps the best of the older Eastwood Westerns.
8) Unforgiven - Great work and a great cast. "You just killed an unarmed man." "He should have armed himself if he was gonna decorate his saloon with my friend."
9) The entire Firefly series, I have watched all the episodes at least 10 times. "Keep walking Preacher man." And "Pain is scary/" are my two favorite quotes.
10) Better of Dead, the 80's movie of my heart, especially as a skier. "Go really fast that way, if something gets in your way, turn."
11) Full Metal Jacket - I read the book by Gustav Hasford (IIRC) in 7th grade for a history project. The movie only covers 1/3-1/2 of the book.
12) Clock Work Orange- Kubrick at his best.
I met Clint in a cheap bar, in Spain, while he was filming Un Pugno Di Dollari. Odd
happenstance, and he was with another actor who I always liked but whose name I can never remember . . . .was in several of his spaghetti westerns, always second fiddle but bad ass. Anyway, I, in my 20 year old splendor, sat at the bar not recognizing these two, ordered a beer, and made some remark like, "hot today, eh?" Clint looked at me, a long time. I wondered if I had said something wrong; maybe I would die today. Then he put am arm on my shoulder and said, yes, hot today. Want another? Bought me a beer, went back to talking to his friend. I realized then who he was, couldn't think of anything to say so slinked away. Still, pretty cool.

My family used to own a health food store in Santa Cruz and Clint would come in about every six months or so, mainly to stock up on vitamins. Really nice man. Sondra Locke, not so much. They filmed a scene at the store for "Sudden Impact," but it ended up on the cutting room floor. C'est la vie. I didn't find out about it until literally the day they were shooting. I was a student at SCU, and my dad told me he didn't want me cutting class to watch the filming. :o
