Could universities charge tuition, room and board against this compensation? I mean, if they are going to pose as private contractors who get paid upon completion of the "job", why not have them pay the business expenses just like other contractors? But they're smarter than that. The leaders of the union movement want them to be "employees". I wonder how they'll like that when they get fired for failing to break into the 2-deep. I mean, sub-par machinists or coders get cut loose every day, right?
