I read through this thread first, then read the article. What strikes me the most from the article is that the author doesn't seem to realize that his condescending tone completely undermines his stance. It's certainly okay to disagree with Shaw's point of view, but you'd think that an intelligent person would at least be able to acknowledge that it's understandable that a person might think differently. Of course, he did get what he wanted. I clicked the link.
