First of all, I prefaced my comments by saying "based on what I saw from the Spring Game." Second, how is it ridiculous to draw conclusions from watching someone play? Sure, someone might improve, but so too might everyone else already ahead, and behind.Â
Here's a cold hard truth. If a guy isn't playing significantly in his RS Soph year, he more than likely isn't a great player, or even a difference maker. Yes, there are exceptions, but by and large, especially at RB, if a guy hasn't had significant playing time by then, he isn't ever going to get it barring injury. And that more than likely means no NFL career, which is what most of the players are aiming at. That's why this is such a brobdingnagian year for Barry Sanders.Â
