I, for one, did not see that as positive. Williamson would have been more than happy to answer questions if he had made the kick. He's got to face the fact that playing in big-time college football means he's got to do the reverse, too. I believe, after a moment or two to pull himself together, he would have done so -- he certainly has faced the questions about that kick straight-on many times in the years since. But the offensive lineman prevented him from doing so that night. That was a disservice.

Yes, I believe those athletes must answer reporter questions, especially since they get paid.
