I suppose it would be better for our strength of schedule if USC goes on to run the table until we meet them again in the championship game. 

But first, I cannot wish for that.  I cannot wish for anything but unmitigated ill to befall them. 

Second, I don't think it will happen anyway.  I strongly suspect that Oregon State or Arizona State or both will come into LA and beat them at home, perhaps badly.  But USC does have an easy schedule, and with UCLA looking rather mediocre, it all may come down to that Arizona State game in early October.

I've always hated SC because it is SC.  Sometimes they have a coach that makes the hatred deserved, and sometimes they don't and then my hatred is just traditional.

Right now it is deserved.
