At this point, our chances of winning the Pac12 north are extremely slim, so I would find it hard to root for U.SC to win, knowing that it likely sets them up for a chance to win the Pac12 and go to the play off.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but Stanford's chances of winning the Pac-12 North aren't significantly diminished after last Saturday.  Stanford was always going to have to go into Eugene and beat Oregon to win the North.  I still think they can do that.  As disappointed as I was in the results Saturday, I saw enough to think this team has the talent to run the table from here on out.  So let's do it.  Beat Oregon in Eugene, win the tiebreaker and destroy USC in the Pac-12 championship game, delivering the payback they so richly deserve.  It's on.
