I thought people might like some more information on Alanna Smith, the 6'3" Aussie who we are recruiting. Here are two videos:

Those videos are quite impressive, as is her resume.
She is athletic, moves well, and is a big 6'3". Reminds me a little of Ruef. Terrific rebounding and defense. Her father played professionally in the Australian league. "I lived in a basketball stadium as a child." She is articulate and has a delightful Aussie accent--duh--when pressed says she would like to model herself after Kevin Durant. Represented Australian on the U17 team and more recently the U20 team, and wants to represent Australia in the Olympics. She was nominated for the Australian youth player of the year, seems to have lost out to Kristy Wallace (a combo guard) who is headed to Baylor. Clearly the best Australian Big in the 2015 class. It does not seem to me as if any of the foreign recruits show up in the ESPN rankings until after they have committed.
