I always thought that the "fight" such as it was, was between Luck and RGIII, the first and second draft picks that year, and the runner-up and Voldemort winner.

On 2012, Wilson/Seahawks fans would chime into the Luck vs. RGIII debate with time "hey, what about our guy?" comments. In 2013, with RGIII injured or not performing well, the Wilson camp stepped up its claim for best of 2012 draft. This year, RGIII is an afterthought.

Having the SB ring is the ultimate trump card in these debates, even if it doesn't really mean you're great. Trent Dilfer has a SB ring, after all.

Watching the Colts is a bitter sweet experience. It's tough to see great QB play given our current situation. And seeing Fleener's seemingly continual decline is tough to watch as well.
