If Arizona football players consistently choose us over ASU, we should be optimistic about landing a Californian. 

No kid--football player or otherwise--chooses a school because its team won a particular game, or games, in his senior year.  If that was the case, we'd won most and perhaps all of our recent recruiting battles against Notre Dame and USC,  The dumb kids ignored it completely.
