Right, to follow up on Boston Card's point...zooming in on just Big Game makes the decision vaguely justifiable. The problem with that assumption is that Goff has been much more effective, at much larger volume, over the season. He, visually, looks like a better quarterback -- better accuracy, better movement in the pocket, better zip. (obviously rubenzer is the better runner...)
I think the gap between them is so big that the logical thing is for that gap to manifest itself over the course of the game, regardless of how well one (or the other) might be playing. If Michael Jordan is shooting 10/30 and B.J. Armstrong's shooting 6/9, do you go with Armstrong in crunch time? Thought so.
