Kind of funny that when they mention the loss of their former recruiting advantage in Texas, they don\'t mention the Pac-10.

So maybe when Texas cited television revenue when they passed on joining the PAC-12 (or would it have been PAC-16?), they might\'ve actually been worried about losing more in-state talent to the rest of the conference. Hmm.

Not really.  

Is the story out there that Texas passed on the Pac10, because at least the fans were all about trying  to get in?  

California schools have always been attractive to Texas recruits.  I think Texas would have been a big beneficiary of getting regular exposure in Southern Cal.
