My list excludes Hogan because I believe Hogan is coming back. Peat, Carter and Cajuste are higher risk for leaving imo. If Hogan were to leave, I would definitely put him in the top 6 of that list and possibly even number 1. We hope we have an adequate or even better replacement, but we really don't know and a small difference in a QB can lead to a big difference in overall performance.
Clearly, the two places where the team lacks depth the most is the entire DL and OT if Peat leaves.
I may undervalue Hoffpauir in that list. I am a fan of his and he is a great tackler, but he also isn't the best nickel against the spread in passing situations so I am hopeful that the current frosh who are redshirting, Lloyd and Whitfield will round out the safety positions equally to Hoffpauir and Olugbude. Our secondary coach turns everyone into NFL players according to his bio so next man up.
