I\'ve exhausted at least two decades of minimal giving a s%$# about the NBA with this one post,  but I find it interesting that so far Fields is considered more valuable playing for the Knicks than being trade bait for the Knicks.

The Knicks appear to have learned -- finally! -- that in the salary-capped NBA, getting production out of guys who don\'t make a ton of money is essential. Landry, who\'s averaging 10 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 2 assists per game, and 1 steal per game, makes $473,604.  That\'s about 3 percent of Amare Stoudemire\'s salary. Landry is an enormous bargain, so his value to the Knicks is a lot higher than his stats might indicate.
