I am curious as to why folks think that Hoffpauir is leaving. I understand that he will likely be drafted in baseball, but it seems that we've had others who were drafted in baseball, played in the summer, and still played football - I am thinking of Hoffpauir's position-mate, John Lynch. Now, if Hoffpauir thinks his future is in baseball only, or lacks the passion for football, I can see him not returning.

Even with departures, I think all positions should have sufficient talent and depth - except for DL. I for one do not think that you need a "cowbell" (as I heard it described on one broadcast) RB that apparently MUST weigh 20 lbs. (not 10) more than what we have. I think, rather, that you need a strong run-blocking line, a smart and determined runner (with, of course, ability and strength), and plays designed to maximize both.
