It is shocking to me that pro teams really request, and still often get, these taxpayer funds. A county has to have better uses for its resources than funding billionaires' pet stadium projects. Your typical middle class family really can only afford to watch on TV, and if they are watching on TV it really does not matter where the teams are playing.Â
