A friendly acquaintance of mine with strong Stanford ties has a son who is a superb soccer player.Â He was pointed at Stanford for a long time, was a door #1 casualty.Â Very unfortunate.Â Great kid, great family, great soccer player.Â At least he'll be playing for my favorite team.
