I vehemently disagree.  While ESPN has its share of rumor traffickers, most of the guys doing the Pac-12 and Stanford blogs (Kevin Gemmell and Ted Miller), and even some of the new guys (like Kyle Bonagura) are fairly reasonable and stick to the facts rather than the old "I've heard that so and so might do xyz".

I'll add my sarcasm tag next time.  Clearly ESPN does not contractually require its journalists to exaggerate.
