CornFed - Fountain Hopping was indeed part of the Stanford Bucket List, when I was on campus in the late 90's. If you were a part of the band, you pretty much checked it off with most rallies as you gathered the students from dorm to dorm.
The tradition I regret not participating in was going steam tunneling. My wife did lots of exploring in the steam tunnels but I'm a big guy and fairly claustrophobic, so I was not going down there.
