Do the Niners really believe Kaepernick is their longish-term solution?  Baalke, who is clearly running things, talks about a power running game. Kaepernick is working with Kurt Warner and Trent Dilfer now, suggesting they want a guy who can read the defense and go through progressions. 

Doesn't sound like a spread, post snap-oriented offense to me, though I agree that's what they should be doing in Ninerland with the QB they have.
