Oregon extends the lead to two TDs again.
The really curious thing about watching Oregon -- and this is the first time all year I've *really* watched them -- is their formations: they're not spread. They're in the shotgun, sure... but have two guys in the backfield, a TE, and two WRs. Overall, a tight formation. Dunno if this has been a season-long trend for them, but it's a bit jarring.

This is why despite the fact that I always enjoy every und loss - and general misery - I don't really like the outcome of this game. und actually looks rather capable (the outgaining by 140 part) but loses stature for our match up. In addition, going forward, und gets the advantage of the players-not-getting-full-of-themselves effect for being undefeated.
[And I am pretty sure that hyphens between six consecutive words is entirely grammatical.]

I want Notre Dame to have at least two losses this year (including to us). I don't want them to be "in the conversation" for a playoff spot. Sure, for our purposes, it'd be better if they had been beaten by USC, but as you point out, I won't bemoan any UDFG loss.

Exactly. ND in the playoffs would be a travesty, so they need at least two losses (and probably three, given how much the media loves to slobber the domer knob).
