We will take them seriously, but let's not be too concerned with their stats versus Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, and Arizona. All of those teams have major issues on defense.

So who are we rooting for in Arizona vs. WSU? 

I'm not very happy with how that one turned out.
My pop-psychology analysis is that WSU now thinks they have something to play for and have a chance. Had they lost, my sense is they'd have a harder time getting up for the game back in the pack with two losses.

Now it's for the Pac 12 north lead.

College teams can gel quickly over the course of the season, and this appears to be the case with WSU, at least on offense.  They are no patsy, and our game against them is obviously not the sure win we might have assumed at the beginning of the season.  But this is the MO for Mike Leach teams, right? A ton of offense, not a lot of defense? It will make for a pretty fascinating matchup, with our ground-and-pound offense vs. their Spread.  A reminder of why we recruit so many DBs in recent years, to get two-deep in the defensive backfield to handle all these offenses like C@l, WSU, AZ, ASU, etc.
