I hope that people in this thread who are speculating about team dynamics in light of rumors are paying attention to the assessment of someone who is closer to the program than any of us.  Maybe Shuler is ready to get on with his post-football life.

Sometimes people are just ready to move on with their life post-Stanford.  Shuler will have graduated with his degree and may be excited to see what the next chapter of his life.
